The Mandel Public Library in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida is hiring! We have an exciting opportunity for a Library Assistant to join our team! Under direct supervision, provides customer service at the library; maintains library materials in respective areas; reconciles cash reports, and provides timely and accurate information to the public; and performs related duties as assigned. This is a Full-Time position and will require evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from an institution recognized by the Florida Department of Education, and six (6) months clerical and/or customer service, and/or Student/Library Page experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Additional Details: The selection process for this position may consist of any, all or a combination of the following tests: evaluation of training and experience, written examination, structured oral interview or other assessment method.
