Everlove & Associates manages and supports law libraries in private, academic and government settings. We have been in business since 1976, with more than 20 employees serving in nearly 100 libraries throughout the state of Florida. Our duties range from tracking serials and filing loose-leaf supplements to choosing research tools and training patrons to use electronic research services.
We are not temporary employees and our jobs are not temporary. Most of us work in the same libraries for our entire employment and many have been with Everlove & Associates for more than 10 years.
We are currently hiring an Assistant Law Librarian to work in St. Lucie County for 20-25 hours per week on a flexible schedule that will include some Saturdays until 2:00 PM and/or some evenings up until 7:00 PM. The work includes processing library publications and loose-leaf filing as well as answering legal reference questions.
Library or Information Science graduate degree or degree candidate preferred
Bachelor's Degree required
Law Library experience preferred
Library experience or current student librarian required
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with the public
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel and Access data entry
Ability to troubleshoot desktop computers
Online research skills including Westlaw and Lexis
Demonstrated ability to work on your own
Attention to detail in performing repetitive tasks
