Professional Studies Librarian and Online Outreach Coordinator
The University of West Florida Libraries in Pensacola, FL seeks a full-time Assistant Faculty Librarian (position #105900) to manage the Professional Studies Library (PSL). Responsibilities of this position include managing the PSL, serving as the liaison for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS), and coordinating online outreach initiatives. Regular work schedule is Monday through Fridays, including occasional evening and Saturday instruction. Position reports to the Dean of Libraries. This is a full time twelve-month non-tenure earning position with faculty rank and status.
The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, enthusiastically participate in projects involving new and emerging technologies; and possess excellent patron service, communication, writing, and organizational skills. Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday during the fall and spring academic sessions.
Master's degree from an ALA-accredited institution in library science, demonstrated experience using digital tools and applications in instruction, and appropriate professional, academic library experience consistent with university guidelines.
