Description:

The Monroe County Public Library in Key West, Florida, has an opening for an experienced, creative, service-focused library manager. Candidate should be unflappable, flexible, organized, with a well-developed sense of humor. Responsibilities include team leadership, communications, community relations, collection development, strategic planning, and budgeting. Located in the heart of the Old Town district, our library services are highly valued in this beautiful, eclectic community. Monroe County is an EEO employer with veterans' preference available.


Education:

A Master's degree in Library Science, or equivalent experience, is required, along with 3 to 5 years minimum of related work experience in the public library field, with increasing responsibility in supervisory/management experience.
