The VR Web Developer/Programmer will develop and maintain the Ask a Librarian website and portals for libraries. This is a remote, online position with occasional in-person meetings at our Tampa office.
NATURE OF THE WORK:
This position is responsible for technical design, implementation, and support of the Ask a Librarian program. Responsible for developing a consistent design and keeping sites (Askalibrarian.org and info.askalibrarian.org) current, creating forms and modules for submitting information through the Springshare system, and creating and tracking Google Analytics throughout the various sites. VR Web Developer/Programmer will work with libraries and TBLC staff to create custom portals, widgets and other access points for users.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or four years of relevant experience.
