Stetson University seeks an innovative, collaborative, and dynamic Engagement and Learning Librarian for a full-time tenure-track appointment as an assistant professor. The ideal candidate has a desire to develop expertise in learning technologies, library user behavior, communications, and marketing. This new position will work to develop relationships with the library’s various user communities in-person and online, and instruct students both in the library and in classroom sessions. The person in this position will help the library enhance services to meet the needs of traditionally under-served populations on campus. Working collaboratively, the Engagement and Learning Librarian will coordinate the development and implementation of programming, activities, and projects designed to improve the overall library experience. The successful candidate will be expected to meet the standards for librarianship, scholarship, and service outlined in the University’s tenure and promotion policies. Master of Library & Information Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution required. Second Master’s degree preferred.
