OPS- Digital Services and OER Project Support 

The Florida Virtual Campus in Gainesville, Florida, invites applications for the full-time position of OPS-Digital Services and OER Project Support, position #OPS00110PO. This position is responsible for assistance with the Florida Digital Archive sunsetting, Florida OJ upgrade, and Florida Islandora upgrade. Required assistance with metadata clean up, file transfer, software testing, website design and layout (CSS), technical/member support, and project assistance as needed.  Requires strong technical skills (including CSS and Excel), working knowledge of XML/metadata, and experience communicating, both written and verbal, complex concepts.  This project is expected to last approximately six months.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience; or a high school diploma and seven years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:  Familiarity with Library Systems, Excellent, relevant technical skills, and Education or working experience with Academic Libraries.

Salary Range:  $20.00/hour.

Location:  This position will be located Gainesville, FL.
