Develops the Library System Long Range Plan for internet, computer and electronic (I/C/E) resource training for the public. Designs and presents internet/computer classes for large group lectures, small group hand-on sessions and on-on-one assistance. Develops training for system-wide staff who conduct I/C/E resources classes for the public. Schedules the use of the Computer Center and CreationStation; assists members in the use of print and electronic resources; selects hardware/software to be purchased and trains instructors to use/troubleshoot it. Represents the Palm Beach County Library System (PBCLS) at committees that deal with I/C/E resource training issues.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association; minimum of one (1) year of professional library experience. Preference for experience: Presenting oral and written reports; building teams to work on complex projects (must specify on application); with Audio Visual (A/V) production; conveying technical information in terms understandable to any audience (must specify on application); using Macintosh (MAC)/Personal Computer (PC)/internet/library-related electronic products (must specify on application). Also desirable: Knowledge of a full range of current/emerging electronic products/systems (must specify on application); bilingual (Spanish/Creole).
