Description:

This is a high-level professional position with management responsibilities that include planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and managing the operation of the county library system. Serves as the single administrative head to manage and coordinate the operations of the library system.


Education:

Master of Library Science Degree from an ALA accredited college or university.  Five (5) years of professional library experience utilizing the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above with three (3) years of significant management/supervisory  experience in the direct management/administration of library services.  Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and be insurable by current insurance carrier.
