Provides a full range of customer service and circulation desk duties. Maintains orderly flow of returned materials. Assists the public in the use of library resources including online catalog, databases, print and digital resources, and more. Completes other related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED. Minimum three (3) years of experience in customer service work. Experience working in a library or bookstore is a plus. Must have a working knowledge of computer and technology systems. A comparable amount of directly related experience may be substituted at the City’s discretion. Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays.

The selected candidate will have a background check and physical exam completed prior to employment. Possession of a current valid Florida driver license required. The compensation package will start at the base salary range and may vary based on proven abilities of the individual selected. The position is Florida Retirement System (FRS) eligible.
