Assists in coordinating, planning and developing services for children and teens. Carries out storytelling classes and creative activities. Provides research, collection development and readers’ advisory services for babies, toddlers, school-age children, teens and parents. Conducts tours of the library; represents the library at schools, daycare centers and in the community. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association. Preference for experience Public library children’s and teen’s services; storytelling; using eDevices and the internet (must specify on application). Also desirable: Bilingual (Spanish/Creole); knowledge of children’s literature (must specify on application).
